Dec 3rd New paper published!
'Forced Air Blowers: An evaluation of filtration adequacy and airborne
contamination emissions in the operating room'. The results suggest that
popular forced air devices are of questionable design with regard to
preventing airborne contamination emissions into the operating room and
possibly the surgical field. This highlights the potential risks of
intraoperative surgical site contamination when forced air devices are
